FOBS (Friends of Bridgerule School)
Here at Bridgerule Church of England Primary School, we have an active PTA called Friends of Bridgerule School, FOBS. This group is open to any parent/carer with a child at the school as well as any member of staff or Governor, or indeed anybody wishing to be part of our school community. The idea is to work closely with the school to support financially in any area that will benefit all the children. Some of the things that have recently received help from FOBS include violin lessons, school trips, swimming lessons, a contribution towards some reading books throughout the school and most recently some large outdoor games for use during playtime.
This group meets every half term to discuss school requests and organise future fund raising events, which have included a ramble and barbeque; bingo, line dancing and various raffles. FOBS also organise some fun activities for the children and weekly after school football sessions.
The group is always welcoming to new members and fresh fundraising ideas, as well as donations of any sort. Without the combination of this group, supportive family and friends, along with close liaisons with the school, the children would not benefit from some of these wonderful extra activities to support their learning at school.
If anyone is interested in joining this group please don’t hesitate to enquire in the office.

We had a very successful evening in July when the committee organised a ramble as part of revel week. The fantastic sum of £665.73 was raised. At the beginning of September we held a Clay Pigeon Shoot at Tatson Farm courtesy of the Pinn Family, £485 was raised.
