Class Two - Music

Classes 2 had a visit from dancer and yoga/meditation teacher, Jennie Dodd, who brought in a selection of wonderful musical instruments from around the world. This visit linked with our Science topic of 'Sound' and the children could hear and see how these instruments produced sound and how the volume, pitch and timbre could be changed. They also had a turn playing some of them. We all had our favourite instruments (mine were the big glass singing bowls!). We ended the session by relaxing to some overlapping sounds.
