On Monday, Class 3 had a very busy (and messy!) afternoon creating pots out of airdrying clay in the style of Kenyan born artist Magdelene Odundo. They used pictures of their asymmetrical chalk sketches that they made last week as a starting point and then adjusted their creations according to balance and stability! They have done an amazing job and come up with some very original designs. We will be painting them next week, thinking about tone and hue.
