As part of Collective Worship this term, we have been focusing on our school value - co-operation. We all need to do our part (1 Corinthians 12: 14-31)
The children really enjoyed exploring the importance of co-operating, the skills required and how it feels. They played “teamwork tower…” where they worked in pairs to see who can be the first to stack Cheerio’s up onto a raw spaghetti noodle…the catch is that each student could only use ONE hand and the other must assist to make up for it.
We discussed how there are many ways to consider how the church operates as a team of believers…the Bible makes it clear that every person has special gifts and abilities. We can use those unique elements to come together and do amazing things. But we have to use each other to make it happen.
