Class 3 have been exploring the work of Magdalene Odundo, an artist born and educated in Kenya who is internationally known for her work using clay and glass. The children have really enjoyed learning about the importance of the sketchbook in developing the shapes and ideas and have created their own bold visual outdoor sketches. They are very excited to be making their vases based on their outdoor sketches in the next couple of weeks.
