Last week we started our topic on Ancient Egypt by looking at maps and discovered that Egypt is in Africa. This week we worked with our friends to decide why we thought the River Nile was so important to the Ancient Egyptians. One of the most popular reasons was that it gave them water to drink. As part of our PSHE and DT we have been learning about healthy food and tasting different fruits and vegetables. The bean seeds that we planted in science have just started to grow. We have also been learning the names of some wildflowers so why not see if you can spot pink campions, bluebells, cow parsley, buttercups and stitchwort around Bridgerule!
