It has been lovely to see how everyone has settled in and so many happy faces coming into school each morning. The reception children have just started learning the sounds “m” and “a” and love the little frog Fred who is helping them with their blending. In maths the Year 2 children found out it was much easier to count the straws when you grouped them in groups of ten. The Year 1 children have been finding one more and one less. In topic this week we have learnt all about George Stephenson and how the Rocket went 30mph, building train tracks and working together to creating amazing train collages.
