Class 3 Devon Wildlife Trust - Hedgehoges

Hedgehog Houses

 

On Tuesday, Class 2 and 3 made hedgehogs houses to make a safe place for them to hibernate.  We also learnt that hedgehogs can't face north or west because the strongest winds come from the north and west.  Did you know that hedgehog's spikes are made from the same material as our hair and nails? (Keratin).
