Home learning.

Home learning is an important part of developing the skills of all pupils. It allows them to practice the skills previously taught at their own speed and with the support of parents/carers when needed.

Our expectation of home learning to be completed by pupils of different ages includes, but is not limited to:

 - At least 4 home reads a week of a book which matches the pupils reading ability.

 - Ample opportunities to share and enjoy stories and books with families which the pupils may read themselves or may enjoy being read to.

 - Phonics practice will be set weekly for all pupils in KS1

 - Spelling homework will be set weekly for pupils in KS2

 - Maths homework will be set weekly for all pupils
